It's no secret that some high-profile Southern Baptists are pushing evangelicals toward a #NeverTrump position. At least two high-profile Southern Baptists just can't get enough bashing Donald Trump supporters. One, obviously, is Russell Moore, who seems to fan the flame he's set to hotter and hotter temperatures. God and Country: Are Patriotic Services Pleasing to God?

One may note a few posts scattered about this week pertaining to patriotism, God and country, bearing American flags in Church buildings, and observing themes in Sunday services expressing patriotic allegiance. Some suggest patriotic services are unwise at best and idolatry at worst.
