Baptist Press released today that former Baptist Press chief editor,* Dr. Will Hall, was unanimously elected editor of the state paper of the Louisiana Baptist Convention, The Baptist Message. Reportedly, Hall indicated his excitement for the "opportunity to contribute to the strong legacy of journalism that defines the Baptist Message. Iowa pastor and blogger, Dave Miller, claimed in a rancorous blog he directed toward the personal credibility of veteran, award-winning journalist, Joni Hannigan, that Baptist bloggers like himself and those at SBC Voices constitute the real Baptist news agency of Southern Baptist Convention.
