In his earlier writings ... Pinnock showed me that Calvin's teaching on the "divine decree" is not in the Bible -- it is a philosophical concept that led to the heresy of double predestination.

I appreciate Dr. Vines comments about Pinnock...but are we not "to stay faithful until the end" to receive our reward?
It is bothersome that the 'early years of a theologian' are referred to(the faithful years) upon someone's death rather than
his/her 'wayward years' which may reflect a heart problem or one of confusion. God's people are not confused about the basics and His sheep can hear(know) his voice.
