Well maybe one surprise: is it not odd to see Florida absent from the mix of the Top Ten church going states? The other oddity in the list is Utah. However, Utah is easily explicable due do the high percentage of Mormons in the state, Mormons being among the most vigorous attendees of any subgroup.
Nor is there surprise in the 10 states with least church attendance:
