A doctor…not even a notorious abortion doctor…deserved to be gunned down while he served people in his home church. That’s precisely what George Tiller received from the hands of a rabid, wicked intruder who shot him in cold blood Sunday morning in church. Still under investigation the motive for Tiller's murder is not fully known.
Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, allegedly stated “George Tiller was a mass-murderer…We grieve for him that he did not have time to properly prepare his soul to face God” (//link). While Randall speculates whether or not Tiller possessed time to “properly prepare his soul,” others rightly question the raw, demonic evil in the degree of vigilante “justice” surrounding Tiller’s death (Indeed if Tiller was murdered because he performed abortions).
On a similar note—and no less shocking cultural revelation--a revealing new study apparently shows young women who attend private religious colleges (the overwhelming majority of which are Christian) are more not less likely to seek and obtain abortions than those who attend public institutions, according to the Journal of Health and Social Behavior (//link).
The more positive aspect is (assuming there is anything positive about this), those who were the least likely to report having an abortion--less likely than mainline Protestants, women with non-Christian religious affiliations, and even Catholics--were evangelicals and fundamentalist Christians, the favorite whipping post of mainstream media and more moderate or left-leaning evangelicals.

Thomas,
Thanks but I haven't the first clue what the post you linked contributes here. Nor, unfortunately, do I see as credible the content of the post with its chosen title.
Sorry. With that, I am...

Peter,
"A doctor…not even a notorious abortion doctor…deserved to be gunned down while he served people in his home church . . ."
Should be "No doctor...not even a notorious abortion doctor... deserved to be gunned down"
Just helping with the grammar. Feel free to delete this comment.
