Nice! Your IT budget must've been busted to produce that!

:-D

Sola Gratia!

Somehow I was under the impression you did not have a southern accent. I love the 1940's theme, I thought you were going to say: "The only thing we have to fear...y'all :)

Malcolm Yarnell

This is definitely "old."

Peter,

I cant see anything. Why do you reckon I cant?

David

Byroniac

David, not sure which operating system and internet browser you use, but you probably need to download and install the latest Windows Media player.

volfan007

Byroniac,

Thanks. I'll try that.

David

Steve

Oh Peter, the Mullett has swam away!!!
You will never be the same Peter without the mullett... grow it back man!!

peter lumpkins

Steve,

The mullet is covered up by the hat!

David,

Sorry, I missed your plea for help, brother. Byron to the rescue...

With that, I am...

Well, fellas, I downloaded the update to windows media player, and it didnt work. Any other suggestions?

David

Byroniac

David, forgive me for asking a stupid question: do you see a white arrow pointing right in a blue circle at the bottom of the black box?

If not, it means that the plugin for Windows Media either isn't installed, or could be disabled in Internet Explorer (or Firefox). I don't know which version of IE you have, but if it's IE7, make sure that in Tools - Internet Options - Programs - Manage add-ons, that the Windows Media player plugin is not disabled. You're probably going to have to google for help in troubleshooting windows media player problems. If you have an older computer or operating system, this could be why you're having a problem.

Try downloading the video and playing it: http://peterlumpkins.typepad.com/files/video-10.wmv

Byron,

I clicked on the link, and it played it. As far as all the other stuff you said, you might as well be talking Cherokee Indian. I cant make heads, nor tails out of all that computer talk. But, thank you for providing the link in your comment. I could see it fine that way.

David

PS. Also, Byron, thanks for trying to help an ole redneck hillbilly with a computer problem.

Byroniac

David, you're welcome. I only wish I could point you in the right direction for an easy fix. It sounds like you're missing that plugin in your internet browser (for some reason), and if you're using Internet Explorer, this should have just worked without any hassle. I'd try Firefox, and see if it recognizes your Windows Media player.

And BTW, I'm part Cherokee (only about 6.25% if I did my genetics right, but maybe higher). You'd never know it to look at me, though. I'm fascinated by Sequoyah, who invented the Cherokee alphabet, and grateful to have a genetic link to the Cherokee, however distant. But, if I didn't make sense, don't blame Sequoyah, just blame me. :)

Byroniac

Hey Peter, rumor has it that you are planning to produce a movie, apparently in cohorts with Steve, because I heard it will have the words "wizard" and "Oz" in the title, and have an absolutely fabulous never-before-seen special effect, which none of our sources were allowed to name. Any truth to that rumor? And just what is your connection to the mysterious Steve, anyway?

volfan007

Byron,

I, too, have Cherokee Indian blood in me. I'm only one sixteenth Cherokee, though. My great-great Granmother was full blooded Cherokee.

David

Joe Blackmon

Dude, you didn't end the video with your "with that, I am Peter". Bwahahaha

peter lumpkins

Joe,

Thanks for the rm. Yet, though I considered it, I judged the V not really a post. Since you insist though. Maybe I'll consider such more carefully in the future...;^)

With that, I am...

Peter
