When my Hun & I travel to our homeplace back in beautiful Tennessee, we travel backroads that wind us through the Sweet Home state.
About dead center between Anniston and Huntsville, there sits the tiny little town known as Boaz. Not much there; just a place to travel through, looking for junk and enjoying the ride.
A pass-time Boazians must surely enjoy is wrestling. Virtually every time we travel through, the newest billboard boasts of the upcoming Saturday Night event.
Seems their star attraction is watching little people fling each other around the ring.
No one tells Alabama what to do or what to say nor certainly still how to say it. "If 'Midget' was good enough for Moma, 'Midget' is good enough for me" proudly stands as the motto of all loyal Boazians.
I love the South.
With that, I am...

As a native Annistonian, I heard the other day that all of the Walmarts had run out of ammunition. The cause? The statement was made that Russia might take Georgia - but they would never take Alabama.

I'll bet that that sign about midget wrestling was in CB Scott's yard.

The prize goes to JC--"Russia might take Georgia but they would never take Alabama." What a double--No Wait! Triple Georgia hoot! I laughed out loud in the coffeeshop. If I knew your address, JC, I'd send you a Starbucks...
