The following sermon I preached a couple of years ago. It reflects my deep conviction as I lament the frail, impotent, feel-good approaches employed by some today in their desperate attempt to 'make the Church relevant'. God's Church, as she employs her God-given power, will never cease to be relevant.

I trust the message was an inspiration. Note: the song at the end is written and recorded by my good friend, Ron Binkley. No one picks strings like Ron.

G'day Peter, is there any way to reduce the size of the MP3 to a smaller mg? I would really like to hear the message.

Steve,
I will have to see if I can do an alternative file. I am new to this podcasting gig. And, the only conversion option I saw was an MP3.
I am away from the office right now. I'll keep trying.

Peter,
Excellent, timely word. Thanks to that song at the end, I'll have lyrics floating through my head this week. :)
Great way to start a Monday! Thank you for the inspiration.

Peter, if you'll send me the actual MP3 file, I'll downsize it for you if you'd like me to.

Thanks, Luke. Ron's a great artist that God uses tremendously...
Jon,
Unfortunately, I am not where I can get the mp3 to you. Thanks anyway, though.

Thanks Peter, that is a great sermon. I enjoyed it immensely.
And I believe that is the very issue today in churches around the world. Wherein is our confidence? Our programmes, our praxis, our pentecostalism or the gospel itself. Well said.
