I suppose it to be inevitable. As we move closer to June, 07 and the Southern Baptist Convention, the fiery display of Baptist on Baptist name calling, seems, to me at least, heated up. Dr. Bruce Prescott posts almost daily at Mainstream Baptists. He is a viable, respectable voice of Moderate Baptist views. And, though I frequently find myself at odds with his position, in my brief exchanges with him, I have found Dr. Prescott to be both an able scholar and a Christian gentleman.
