  • Dr. John Sullivan, Ex. Dir., Florida Baptist Convention, says---
"Peter Lumpkins has done an amazing piece of work. He has explored the various views on the question of drinking “recreational alcohol” (booze) by disciples of Jesus. With the precision of a surgeon he dissects the views and then stitches them together for an overall answer to the question. This is the first book of this nature that I have read in years—the best argument in print against the outlandish and inaccurate views of 'not use but abuse.' Every preacher should make this a must reading."

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy in your family. May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort and strengthen you, and especially your daughter, in this time of loss. May the Lord give you His peace.

Rev 21:4 (ESV) He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

Peter,

I am stunned. Thanks for passing this information along.

Peter,

Thank you for sharing this. My family will keep her and her family in prayer.

Ron P.

All,

I chose to unpublish the last exchange completely. This thread needs to remain thoroughly purged from any negative words whatsoever.

Grace to all. Continue to pray for the Kaufman family.

With that, I am...

Peter
